Dr. Ogawa has been my family doctor since 2022. She is a great physician who always carefully listens to my concerns, makes sound diagnosis and always provide helpful advice. I'd strongly recommend her.
Find another primary care provider if possible - this place is understaffed and poorly ran. First, good luck trying to get ahold of anyone at the front desk. You’ll likely spend at least 30 minutes on hold listening to “we’re experiencing higher than normal call volume” message on repeat. Takes forever just to get an appointment. I had a very poor experience here, both with my doctor and on the administrative side. The doctor was dismissive and missed something major than my next doctor easily investigated and solved. It felt like this doctor did not have the time or interest in solving my issue. The admin/tech side seemed very outdated and inefficient compared to other doctor's offices. They need to improve the quality of their patient care overall.
I don't have any complaints. Everyone and everything is so good! My insurance coverage works fine with UCSF San Mateo and they don't charge more than $15.
