the doctor here is so gentle!
It has been 5 years since I have graduated and I still fear going to the gynecologist because of my experiences here. One experience in particular that stands out is a gynecologist who pressured me into taking Plan B when I really didn’t need to. I kept saying “no I don’t need it” but she kept pushing me and saying “you HAVE to” and wouldn’t stop until I was putting the pill inside of my mouth. I don’t think coerced consent is true consent. I am still recovering from this experience. Please do better, UCSB.
