500 people every hour here for a soccer tournament and ONE BATHROOM available. This ONE BATHROOM is dirty and disgusting, not taken care of at all. The rec center is right there but no one is allowed to use the bathroom despite the sign clearly inviting you in to do just that and then to be told no, go outside around the corner. Not at all a good place for a tournament.
Awesome… though not enough restrooms when renting the fields
Overall, the gym is decent, but there are a few things that could be better. The areas (especially cardio) really need some fans or better ventilation—it gets super stuffy, especially when it’s busy. Also, the two hip thrust machines are always taken. Adding another one wouldn’t hurt. And it’s a bit annoying that the hip extension and hanging leg raise machines are only in the other building. Having to go back and forth between buildings during a workout isn’t ideal.
I was having a hard time enrolling with my student discount and with RecBucks in classes online, so I went to the Customer Service Center and was so delighted with the help I received. Maddison and Lucas helped me out and made sure I payed the price that I wanted with ease and grace, and they made it fun rather than a chore. They made my day just by doing there job, thank you RecCen Customer Service Center!
