All students must pay for this even if they do not use it. If they do need it, they get three options. 1. Take a bus somewhere else (outside uconn). 2. Meet once a week for a hour. 3. Pay for group therapy. In my opinion all of those options are not good. So nothing gets done about mental health, and everyone wonders why it's a problem. And they don't show you love. I seriously cannot thank SHAW enough. No one else has ever destroyed my credit and mental health like they did. Unless you’re so masochistic that you enjoy SIX THOUSAND DOLLAR medical fees and being told you’ll end up in jail because of your diagnosis, SHAW is not the place for you. SHAW Mental Health does nothing but enhance the stigma around mental illness.
