I recently visited UCLA Health in Culver City, located at 6000 Sepulveda Blvd, Suite E10, Culver City, CA 90230, for an issue with my elbow, where I had some white scaling on the skin. Dr. Rina Suzuki immediately prescribed a cortisone cream without thoroughly investigating the issue. When I raised my concerns, she got offended and left the room. Why is there a phone message that the last patient for urgent care is at 5:30 but coming in it’s actually a earlier time ?
I usually have great experiences with UCLA Health, but this clinic was incredibly frustrating. I drove over an hour to get there around 6 PM, only to be told that my type of care requires an appointment. I had already completed a video visit with my doctor, who ordered a penicillin shot and STD testing for a pink eye infection, and I was directed to this clinic for treatment. I arrived at 5:17 PM on a Sunday after traveling a long distance, only to be told they had already reached capacity; despite their posted closing time being 6 PM and their own customer service stating they accept patients until 5:30 PM. This was extremely disappointing and shows a lack of respect for patients’ time and effort. The experience felt disorganized and inconsiderate!
