This is by far the worst medical office I have ever been to in my life. The doctors seem to have no idea what they’re doing and the administration is also incompetent and non responsive: I came to see Dr. Patel who is not my regular doctor for yearly my check up and he failed to order a number of routine tests. What kind of doctor doesn’t order a CBC panel when you come in for your yearly exam. Apparently Dr. Patel. there were other tests that were missed as well. The staff are kind and courteous but the people behind the scenes AKA medical billing and billing absolutely feel unscrupulous. It feels like they will find any way to add unnecessary charges to your insurance. For example you go in for an annual physical which is 100% covered by insurance but if the doctor brings up a prior medical condition (not you the patient) then the medical billing department will claim that was outside the bounds of a physical and they will charge you for a full doctor's visit. I am quite shocked and disappointed at the impersonal nature with which UCLA handles its patients and the lack of human decency involved in my interactions with them. It is quite clear they have mechanisms in place to prevent patients from having any recourse for questionable charges. After having a wellness exam with UCLA at this location, my insurance was charged an additional $504 during my visit and I was charged a $98 co-pay, but I have not been able to get justification or resolution around the reason for this charge. ... read more
