Poor experience overall. My Dr, Chen spent 15 min with me and didn’t even address any of my concerns. I mentioned I was having gut and stomach pain on a regular daily basis. She asked if I had been diagnosed with IBS. I said no. Rather than giving me steps to take to figure out what the problem is or how I could be diagnosed she just told me to avoid dairy. She did not ask and therefore did not learn that no matter what I eat afterward my stomach is always upset even if I avoid dairy. I was told since I was not 45 years old ... read more
I schedule appointment just to get a physical. I was able to get in a video call with my primary care physician. I got the bill for $858 (for a 10 min video call). Only to tell me that the next availability for a physical isn't until February 2026. They said they would email me what I need to do for blood test, etc. 1 month later...nothing. am I supposed to figure this out by myself? If so give me my money back.

After paying over 800 for new patient intake --where only a history was done, Doctor Hernandez left a month after my appointment. I am stuck with a 420 bill and no doctor . I would never recommend UCLA.
Once again another Endocrinologist in SLO leaves the area. I received a message via portal that my Endo left her SLO/UCLA practice for “personal reasons”. Why can’t SLO keep hold of a highly qualified endocrinologist or other physicians in speciation practices?? This is a UCLA affiliated office, one would think that they would have no problem refilling the position. Dr. Laies was an excellent endocrinologist, and she did give me excellent care.
