Dr Edward Uchio totally missed my prostrate cancer diagnosis. The exact same biopsy was given to UCSF and it was to be malignant and surgical intervention was performed. All other tests showed high probability, but he thought surveillance was the way to go He was totally off course
Dr. David Lee performed my Prostatectomy and I could not have been happier with the experience and outcome. Dr. Lee and his staff at UCI did a great job. Recovery was quick and relatively easy. My first uPSA was 0.006 so I'm optimistic that cancer won't reoccur. The only negative is that it is very difficult to speak to any Doctor at UCI outside of a scheduled appointment. Forget about using the UCI web portal to communicate with a Doctor.
The Prostate Cancer Center took very good care of my son Scott.

My experience with the UCI team of nurses, doctors, and aides was outstanding. They were very professional and competent. Everyone made you feel special. I would highly recommend them.
