Had excellent service at the Neurology Center from Dr. Supna Suxena, Dr. Nagamine Masaki, MA Charlene, and the rest of the staff. Very welcoming, friendly, polite, cheerful, great humor, compassionate, thorough testings and questions, thinking outside the box for possible solutions. The only issue is that something seriously needs to be done with the parking situation, very difficult to find parking, usually end up across the street at In n Out Burger parking lot to have to cross the street and walk to any appointments at UC... read more

I was not impressed. He was late. Came strolling in coffee in hand, UCI Polo shirt, no Clinic Jacket, looked very Unprofessional. First Impressions count. We discussed my headaches & previous treatments. I explained I was an asthmatic and one of the treatments he recommended was a blood pressure medication which would make me cough and lower my already LIW BLOOD PRESSURE!! Waited 6-8 months for an appointment, only to be told the day of the appointment that they don't treat my condition and had no referrals for me. This happened with UCI's immunology clinic too. Staff is negligent.

A healthcare profesional's and former UCI employee's view: I can't speak about the doctors but the system at UCI is ridiculous now. Family doctor referred my mother in law here. They contacted saying there was no appointment and will call once this occured. We waited over 3 months with no news. We came back to the primary care and still not being able to schedule with UCI neurology. Primary doc was shocked. Dr. Goyal is so superficial. She never answers any questions and acts busy all the time. Visits with Dr. Goyal is just awful, not genuine, no care, no interest. Seems like she is just there to collect that check. Very hard to reach the office. Office does the bare minimum. My doctor ordered Ortho referral for both legs, the office got auth for one.
