Tower 3 nursing staff are not as attentive as before. There's no unit clerk so they have to cover the clerical work that they neglect patient care. The hospital is swamped with Residents, Fellows, and it's very rare for patients, regardless of the severity of the illnesses, to actually be treated by the attending, which is the fellows or residents 'teachers. Dr. Duck is the best doctor really Intelligent and knowledgeable about his practice.
Excellent dept for higher level of care. They saved my dad’s life when he went into cardiac tamponade. They changed his BP meds and since that time his hypertension has been well controlled.
UCI has some of the best doctors & their hospital is the only trauma 1 in S.O.C. I always got good care here. ER is a long wait tho.....
