Dr. Keating was knowledgeable with a rare condition. He wasn't making promises but not turning me away either. He understood the rough 2 yr journey getting to my last resort of hope, him. That human compassion itself was medicine 🙏
The staff is kind and helpful. The facility is nice and they have the best 3 Tesla wide-bore MRI (especially if you’re claustrophobic!)
Every time I have ever had any check up mammogram any kind of service whatsoever with this facility I have gotten nothing but up scale respect kindness a very amazing genuine connection with the staff here I don't like doctors I never have but these doctors are amazing I never felt so comfortable with anyone in such a long time the front desk girls are very kind and sweet I've never been happier
New Patients BEWARE! UCI Health is not transparent with their preventative care physical appointment protocols. They do not provide preventative care physicals at first visits. Even if you request a routine physical appointment, they will schedule you as an "establish care appointment" which will NOT be covered by insurance; even though the appointment entails the same procedures as a routine physical appointment. When going to the UCI, YL lab for blood work, I have always scheduled an appointment with their online service. A few months back, I was 10 minutes early for my 9 am appointment. At that time, there were at least 4 or 5 other people in the waiting area to either get blood work or see their PCP. One by one, they were called back with 2 of them going to the lab for blood work.
