I had an amazing birth experience with Ariel and the team at OMG Midwives. Even though my pregnancy hit some rough patches I never felt pressured, intimated, or invalidated. I appreciated the trauma informed approach and how much focus Ariel and Christina gave me. I always felt talked with and not at. I could ask anything and never felt it was stupid. Delivered with Ariel and hired Doula Karishma here for my first birth. I drove 1.25 hours for each appointment and for the birth just to be able to see this team. I wanted the option of a birthing tub and nitrous without having to go to a birthing center and delivering with this team and at Hinsdale gave me that option. Ariel was great at coaching me through my pushes and dealing with my flailing about. Women do not go here for your pregnancy. If you have an issue or a complication these women are not professional at all. Many women have been ignored, dismissed and treated like they were speaking a different language when in the midst of a miscarriage or some other complication. There are even reddits and other post on here where women were dismissed or treated without empathy when experiencing a loss. Stay away from Beleavia as well she is terrible as a nurse.
