What stands out is that he listened. He was very laid back. I never felt rushed and we discussed everything I needed to discuss. I believe he will be my heart doc from now on and I feel confident I can discuss anything concerning my issues with him. His office even rearranged a pre lab test appt right before seeing him so it will be very convenient for me. I am so impressed with his office and with him.
A few months ago, Dr. Dow basically told me that my SOB was probably related to aging, and sent me away. Knowing that it was more than that, I made an appt at Jewish Health, where additional tests were ordered. Again, my complaint was shortness of breath on exertion.
