I cannot recommend this clinic mainly because I was told you can only change providers ONEt time, apparently it's office policy which was not something I was aware of. My primary said she had never heard of such a ridiculous policy. We should be able to choose the chooser provider ad a patient! I would choose Amanda Mixon if I had to start again. Doctor Mixon was great , she took action right away, she listened and cared about my pain..
Not impressed with this clinic at all. Felt very dismissed. Was in and out less than 5 minutes with the doctor. Doctor ran no tests and didn’t check anything, just said I’m fine and pushed me along. It’s frustrating to be in so much pain with fibromyalgia and lupus and takes a great deal of energy to get to the doctor, so to be punted back to my PCP and told I needed to see other specialists was a huge mental load to continue doing. At the Mayo Clinic any provider you see refers you to the next step and appointment you need ... read more
