UC Health has ruined healthcare in Northern Colorado. Buy everybody, have no where near enough doctors. A month or two to get an appointment to renew a prescription is a joke. They are understaffed everywhere. Generally great doctors and medical staff, but a corporate monster and nightmare from an administrative perspective.
Showed up 5 minutes late and was written off as a “no-show”. Was told I could not be seen and they’re “extremely booked out”. Pretty unprofessional of them given that I’m an asthmatic patient, they’re on the 2nd floor, and I only arrived 5 mins late.
Dr. Kirsten Young is AMAZING!! She’s very professional, extremely knowledgeable and gives her upmost attention and care for your wellbeing! She reviewed my paperwork prior to my appointment and at my first appointment it was like she had known me for years, that’s an AMAZING doctor today! She’s extremely passionate in her field of practice and caring! I drive some miles to see her, but she’s worth every mile to have her as my doctor! My experience was that this clinic does not answer the phone or return voice messages. I gave up trying to reach this clinic after 10 phone calls and 2 voice messages over 3 business days. They handle their own scheduling, and it’s the only UC health pulmonary clinic site I was not able to speak to when trying to find a PFT appointment. I worked for CU Anschutz, and have never had an issue there or other UChealth facility. Hopefully someone can look into helping this clinic fix their communication issues.
Was referred by my doctor, tried making an appointment three times and sat on hold music for 30 minutes for nobody to pick up the phone. Is this place even doing business?
