I have held off on writing a review but am forced to do so now as UCHealth & Dr. Vargas have been of no help. After moving back to town in 2023, I went to see Dr. Vargas on Oct 10, 2023, at her request. I did not need to see her nor had any desire to do so. She indicated it was for insurance and prescription reasons. While in her office and after informing her I was on a very good cycle as far as the migraines were concerned, for some unknown reason, she suggested an occipital nerve block. Dr. Vargas is the best Neurologist I’ve ever had. She understands what I’m going through and works closely with her team to alleviate my pain. I drive two hours to see her every 12 weeks and two hours home in the same day. The reason she’s understanding, helpful incisive and cares. For anyone who does rated bad review hasn’t been still really bad Neurologist.
Dr. Vargas is great an explains everything very thoroughly, especially regarding insurance.
