So very thankful for the prompt, and courteous medical management I receive from the Neurology department. Having had a stroke, the system of other institutions could learn valuable ethic lessons from UC Health in the ease of receiving the care and information when needed. I am very disappointed by my recent experience. I’ve been thinking it over for a few days and I think I should share what I went through. I came in to see Dr Friedman after 3 years of symptoms like dizziness, ear whooshing, headaches, neck pain, etc. that were all connected to each other. I also had a recent ER visit where I had a CT done that showed signs of IIH. That paired with my symptoms led me and my GP to believe I had IIH, but he wanted me to see a specialist.
