My girlfriend had her thyroid cancer removed in Aurora at the Anschutz Medical Campus and her surgeon said that any doctor is qualified to remove her central line and to have it done here once it's healed correctly. It is now healed so we went into the E.R. and they refused to pull the line although her surgeon said the E.R. is probably the best place to get it done. Now we have to make a 3 hour trip for a 5 minute visit so she can get a single stitch cut and a tube removed from her neck. Although they are in fact an EMERGEN... read more
