There have been very few times where I have gone here and gotten competent, compassionate care with even minimally appropriate bedside manner. I certainly have, but it's been the exception. I went today because I was in horrendous pain from a fall where I smacked my shoulder and ribs on the kitchen counter, hard. I am a college student who goes to Colorado State. This day I woke up with extreme period pain, so much that I passed out and threw up. I did not have enough strength to even walk or talk, my boyfriend found me passed out in my dorm bathroom and carried me to the ER. This ER misdiagnosed my child in 2022. But, his surgeon recommended that we take him there when he had some post op complications. I overrode my gut to take him somewhere else, thinking it had been years, things were probably better, I should do what the surgeon recommended, and I shouldn't have done that. Blood on the floor of the intake room where I had my post operative five year old son. A dismissive and rude intake nurse. Harried and clearly overworked providers once we got to the back. I would genuinely give 0 stars if I could specifically for NP Christopher Sligh. I have never been dismissed so heavily and genuinely believe he got his license from WebMD. Mind you I am having the same area of pain intensify. He is the absolute worst clinician I have ever seen.

ER Doc could have done a better job!
