Would not recommend Donald Golen if you want a neurologist who will care about you. Please check his reviews in healthgrades before scheduling an appointment, it is a common issue for him to not care.

Dr. Golen. You personally have great reviews. I did want to see you! I persevered with repetitive communication and fulfilling requests for referrals. Spoke to Lucy and another woman.. 5 calls, 3 weeks later. They were not receiving my referrals from my primary doctor, three times sent . Confirmation of fax number and confirmation of receipt was had. I confirmed with my primary care doctor and Dr. Golens team. I had confirmation numbers to share. Upon getting upset. When needing an infusion for a back procedure, Dr Golen refused to tell the clinic when my husband should stop taking Zorelto, not once but on two different occasions. When my husband asked him directly, his answer was no. As his procedure was approaching the deadline on when the clinic needed the information my husband had to find another neurologist to send the information to the pain clinic, the first time with only 30 minutes to spare before the procedure was to be cancelled. Very unprofessional.
