My partner had a test done for hyperthyroidism. The test came back extremely elevated. She called her UC Health doctor's office twice and messaged through the UC health Portal twice. The pathetic excuse for a doctor couldn't even bother to respond. After a month of not hearing anything from her doctor at UC health, she finally sought care at Banner because apparently caring for patients is too much of a burden for doctors at UC health endocrinology.

Dr. Widom should not be practicing medicine and UC Health should take note. She refused to allow my automatic refill two days before it was due to ship (I have no thyroid, the meds are critical), leaving me with only six days of pills before I ran out, she refused to order a blood test and to renew the prescription and informed me that I was no longer her patient with no reason given. I had to visit urgent care to fix the situation. She is negligent and a liability, and no one should seek care from her.
Had one of the worst experiences with the front desk staff here. I called to request an appointment with a different doctor as I feel the one I currently work with is not a good match for me. I want to trust and be able to feel comfortable with the doctor I am working with, especially when it comes to the issues I am treating using an endocrinologist.
