I know that the medical staff has great knowledge and skills and I commend the Center for trying to do their best for my mentally handicapped sister (who died from ALL leukemia). They worked to accommodate her special needs and this was appreciated. Just a warning that at the initial meeting describing what to expect on your cancer journey, there are MANY cold hard facts left unsaid. I'm alive
I had chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation treatment. I have never been treated so well then I have this cancer center. I cannot sing your praises loud enough for the great treatment that I had here and Dr. Gawryletz and her staff were fantastic. I had good treatment from the receptionist to everyone I worked with there was fantastic. That’s why they deserve a five star review.
Everything the first doctor did made things worse. A nurse in the infusion center said she would never send .anyone from her family to this particular doctor, and she recommended the last doctor. But it was too late.
I don’t really know what exactly is going on with this place but for your health and mental well being stay away. There is no Temple Grandin here to tell them how to well treat the “cattle”. Seriously soul crushing. Parking is also very difficult. Apparently large and well funded does not mean caring and considerate. When you call the patient advocate number it’s also the number for lost & found...all you need to know.
