I have been under Dr Widom's care for over a decade. She has managed my condition extremely well and is always very honest and truthful with me. It seems some reviewers have an issue with her bedside manner. If you are really listening to her and not just taking her plain-talk approach as an offense, you will see she REALLY knows what she is talking about, knows how to best treat your condition, and really DOES care! I have been very happy to have Dr. Widom treating me for a very long time.
Outstanding, professional, concise T1D care. I highly recommend Dr. Widom - she is extremely smart and highly educated on T1D care, and tells it like it is (no dancing around or being vague)!
The rudest Dr. I ever met. She literally ripped into me when I first met her. I barely had a chance to explain why I was seeing her. She judged me and said to quit seeing doctors because there is nothing wrong with me. When I came to her for hormone help. Turns out my GI doctor who did a CT on me for something completely different found cysts on my ovaries which proved the fact ( along with the symptoms i had told Dr. Widom)that I have PCOS . Dr. Widom never believed me.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Widom since Jan 2020. I’ve had endocrine issues- thyroid removed 2x (last time with parathyroid), pheochromocytoma and removal of external gland. So moving to CO I was worried I wouldn’t find a good Endocrinologist and so lucky to find Dr. Widom. She’s helping ways to get the weight off and keep my calcium and Levo where it needs to be. No shaming, blaming or guilt. I would recommend.
