I've been trying to set up an account with UCCU for a month now and it's been my worst online experience thus far. After a month of emails, phone calls, and going to their website I finally was able to get access to my account. I then went to Mint to get my budgeting organized and Mint said my password for UCCU was incorrect. I went back to UCCU and couldn't get to my account because my password was indeed wrong. I received my account statement today, 9/7/19, from UCCU. I was charged $5.00 for not having any money go in or out. Apparently having an account for saving Vacation money is not a smart investment when using UCCU. Look elsewhere.

Kade, the assistant branch manager, ran an illegal credit check—without notification or authorization. Their managers are dishonest and their customer support is abysmal. They're discriminatory and incredibly disrespectful if you’re not rich or white enough or, Heaven-forbid: a female. Don’t waste your time with UCCU.
Take the time to help its members. I have been working on my credit for over a year now and can proudly say I have gotten my score up 70 points all on my own. I made a typographical error when paying my second loan payment and the payment was off by $0.79 when I found out I paid it back but they still reported it as delinquent. So don’t bank with UCCU BECAUSE THEY WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE. I have had them forever and I’ve loved them up until this moment. Their app won’t let me transfer money from my savings to checking to pay bills that come out tomorrow. It says there is an error. You can’t call because they are closed THE WHOLE WEEKEND. I tried messaging technical support, they aren’t responding, probably cause they are closed! I have been a member of UCCU for over 25 years. My experience there has been very positive. I have always been treated with friendly professionalism. I believe UCCU is always looking for ways to make banking easier and better for its members.
Their online bill pay has gone from bad to worse, bad customer service, business accounts are accessable to anyone who holds another joint account with a member of the business account. We've been loyal customers since 1990 but are seriously considering finding another institution.
