I don't like to put things on the internet but I am beyond disappointed with UC Davis Vet. My pet received good care in the neuro Dept. - but that was years ago and those individuals are long gone. Now, the individuals (residents and vet students) providing care are sub-par( if I am being generous). If you care about your pet DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!! We were recommended by many people to take our dog here for mast cell tumor removal. We knew it was going to be pricey but were told he was in the best hands so we decided to make the sacrifice financially. This place gave us a an initial quote then tried to up the quote by 3000$ by trying to do a second surgery. They tried this twice. Both times it wasn’t medically necessary, they even admitted.
