Was so happy to try it one hot Sunday, easy parking, access, clean, and quiet. The sun beds and chairs provided added value to the stay.
The UC Davis Rec Pool looks good in photos—but like much of UC Davis, it’s more performative than practical. Sure, it's a “leisure” space with palm trees and loungers, but try using it regularly and you’ll start to see the cracks. Limited hours, overcrowding, uneven maintenance, and staff that often feel indifferent rather than helpful.
