Being generous with the extra star. I called ahead of time and spoke with Jay or Jacob. I explained I had a Gen 1 Microsoft Surface Book and the battery was swelling and splitting the case. He was unsure about the parts so I looked up the battery for it and gave him the part number. It was about $30-$50. He appreciated the effort, quoted me $150 to get the job done and said to bring it by so they could log it in. They gave me a sticker and asked for me to leave a review. That was before they couldn't do the work becuase it was a weekend. Before they couldn't do it because AWS being down meant they were helpless. And before they handed me back my still messed up phone but now with the back completely falling off because they couldn't get my Samsung 21FE to confirm the repair with their diagnostic tool.
