Family visiting from South were amazed- so beautiful , carvings were so good, we went early in the day to avoid tour groups.
Unbelievable! Not gonna write much. Go there and see it. We saw it as part of a bigger guided tour, with a guide that knows a lot, but even without that the plaques everywhere provides solid info.
Amazing sunset views and rock art
This was a wonderful experience full of incredible images (some paintings are over 5,000 years old) and shows how past generations would tell stories to educate the next generation. The short walk from the car park is flat until you reach the second area of rock art,then there are some rock steps to navigate as you view more paintings. I would suggest if you are able to walk up the rock steps to the look out. The view of the wetlands and surrounding mountains are worth the walk.
