Becca Austin, new to UAMS Health - Urology Clinic, is an excellent and caring PA with years of experience helping women with issues like dropped bladdders. Her approach is refreshingly holistic as noted by the brief questionnaire given to patients to report basic quality of life issues that occur as women age...things like bladder leakage when we laugh or sneeze. My regular physician and her APRN moved to this location and I called to inquire about setting up a previously scheduled appointment at the old clinic. The receptionist kept cutting me off mid sentence and would not allow me to speak. I had to tell her to stop interrupting me. Multiple times. She gave me an appointment that was for 2 days later on a date and time that was going to be a stretch for me attend. I'm a patient of Dr. Houston. I'll be happy to remove this review and maybe even post something better, but this one is absolutely deserved. UAMS Urology has made a complete and totally illogical wreck of filling out my very simple urology supplies order. I've been trying for well over a month to get this corrected, but apparently they couldn't care less. They won't send a new order, they won't return a phone call. I typically hate anything to do with UAMS but this clinic is great. The patients are super annoying, but the staff are wonderful - ESPECIALLY Sam at the front desk (she is SO understanding, acknowledging, validating, patient, helpful & sweet; she deserves a raise especially since the old people patients here are so rude) and nurse Kendra (so considerate, thoughtful, accommodating, patient & kind), but also the tall black lady at the front desk (so professional, and thinking ahead so people get checked-in in a timely and gene... read more
