I recently ad my 7th back Surgery at UAMS. I was scheduled w/a Neuro - surgeon that I'd only seen once on a video-chat. The closer it got 2 my date, I had several questions, but only got 1 return call from his nurse. The day of my surg.was the only time I wld actually MEET this Dr.. Schmieding center. GREAT services... NOT! Called here about 2 years ago due to my wife's memory issues. Because she was only 54 at the time, they sent us away to a local doctor. after 2 years of MULTIPLE doctors and tests, she finally got an official diagnosis, and NOW the center will help us. Started going to events at the center, and support groups before CV. Once that happened the center shut down and NO communication from the center, other than duplicate emails for various things which were of no value. I did call in and... read more
My nephew is not receiving good care at all. He's been there over a week and hus sheets have not been changed, his incisions are not being cleaned, nor his his bag being changed. unacceptable

I use to think UAMS was one of the best hospitals in Little Rock...not anymore! I use to recommend UAMS because I was a patient there years ago and they took good care of me...then...before COVID! I have a relative in there right now that I recommended them to go there. HOW EMBARRASSING!!! They’ve been there for over a week. Had a few major surgeries. My 90 year old mom was admitted last Friday for a procedure . Can’t visit due to COVID. Lots if communication issues ! Can’t get people to return calls or update ! Very frustrating and scary .

Now that I have your attention, my mother went to Dr. Frasier to fix a botched surgery from a previous surgeon on one of her fingers. The finger was pinned at a 90° angle at the 2nd joint up from the tip (PIP joint).
