Doctor is really nice, the UAMS/insurance system is simply insane. I have seen the doctor for literally 1 minute (Hi how are you, I agree with the nurse, thank you have a good day). Through insurance it was billed for $777 - that is basically a $46,000/hour. This is what is wrong with the system and called corruption. The insurance companies play the game with doctor and corporation. Wake up people. Doctors don't care, insurances don't care. They want their money.
Today, I had my first appointment with Dr. Henry Wong at UAMS, who checked me to be sure there was no return of mycosis fungoide. Immediately, I knew that Dr. Wong was well versed and knowledgeable in this disease. In fact, I have never met a doctor other than Dr. Peter Heald, who originally treated me, who knew much about this cancer.
