Recently completed two months of proton radiation treatments at the UAMS Radiation Oncology Center. I found everyone at the facility to be competent and exceptionally kind and caring. Happy to find this level of care available in Little Rock.
I was not given much information or opportunity to ask questions after my treatment began. I’m wheezing and feeling very tired. My Doctor did not see me after my treatments were completed. The radiation technicians acted like questions were unnecessary and were an inconvenience. The machine broke during my treatment. It’s a scary feeling to know the radiation machine was malfunctioning. Everyone there is so nice
We arrived early for the appt but couldnt find the card we wrote the gate code on. Just pushed the red button and a lady remotely opened the gate to the front parking lot and we had no trouble getting inside. Lots of wheelchairs available. Very friendly respectful staff. Did not keep us waiting an hour either.
