Dr. Lane grew up in Abilene, Texas and graduated from Rice University in Houston and from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, in 1990. His Family Medicine residency training was in Tucson with another U of A, the University of Arizona. His first two years after training, Dr. Lane practiced rural medicine including obstetrics in Eagle Lake, Texas. He then worked in the NASA area of Houston for 10 years.
