I see that there are low reviews on this place, but that was definitely not my experience. The reason that it got four stars instead of five is that the parking was a bit confusing. It turned out one of the sensors on the parking lot entry was not working. Okay, back to the reason I was there: I had a serious eye problem and it was completely taking over my body with pain! Outstanding Performance! Our baby daughter was delivered here and I want to say. It was an amazing experience. All the staff were very supportive and helpful. They communicated every step along the way. From the beginning to being discharged. All the staff are very accommodating especially the nurses. We had several nurses throughout our stay but I wanted to say Thank you too the nurses Tiffany,Kristen & Mary and also the others that were involved with the labor & delivery team. I have mixed emotions from our recent visit but the problem was solved after going to two different hospitals. There were people that had been waiting for 6+ hours when we arrived but we were seen before them. They were quick with an assessment and fixed the issue the next morning. I am forever grateful they worked around the clock to get my wife back to health and on her way.

If I could give UAMS ER 0 stars, I would. I went to UAMS with severe abdominal pain and was in excruciating pain to the point that I was bent over and, at one point, unable to walk. I managed to hobble to the bathroom, and a security officer actually had to help me back out because I could barely move due to the pain. I sat in the crowded ER for over four hours, crying and hunched over, only to have a male nurse working that night tell me it was probably just a stomach ache and that I was being dramatic.
