Dr. Edem is a fantastic physician. Without a doubt, he is profoundly knowledgeable & desires healing & a better quality of life for all patients. If you are so blessed to become his patient by referral or request, take it & do whatever he tells you to do! My friend’s life has changed in the best way, & it is only bc of Dr Edem. Dr. Edem is the BEST! He is so very knowledgeable and kind. Good listener and very thorough with attention to detail. I feel significant and respected as his patient. I'm thankful for his care.
During my first appointment Dr. Edem came ready with a whole sheet full of good foods and bad foods for diabetes. We spent the appointment walking through that sheet, specific foods that are traps, proper nutrition to look for, and he highlighted specific things we talked about, especially around my common meals and habits. I’ve only gotten to see Dr Edem once a few weeks ago. I felt like he cared but he immediately changed my thyroid medication dose even though my labs were all in rage. He said it was because for my weight I should be taking a higher dose. I trusted that he knew what he was doing. He’s the doctor not me. After about a week I started feeling weird.
