Trying to reach them by phone is a nightmare of WAITING 😡 The computer system (UAB) answers the call, you follow the prompts, then wait and wait and wait, until you just give up. If I’m calling a doctors office, that means I NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE!!!!! I’ve been “tolerating the system recording” for 15 minutes @ this point in time 😡😡 This is the Pell City location.

My family has used them for a few years. We had to stop using them, cause you have to pay your copayment or extra fees up front to order your glasses or contacts. The problem with this is, as we’ve recently experienced. We had a debt collector call us with a bill, after we’ve already paid what should of been the total amount in the clinic office! I liked the doctor. My concern is my BCBS FEP vision insurance has this provider listed as a full service provider, and when I called to make my husband's appointment I specifically asked if they did glasses using our insurance plan and was told yes. We get to the appointment and was told they do not accept our insurance for glasses. Somewhere there is a breakdown in communication.
