Great classes. Very friendly people.
Friendly with lots to offer.
Really interesting range of classes and activities and really nice people to share them with. I've made some super friends through U3A.
When I moved from interstate I didn't know anyone on the Gold Coast. Someone suggested I join U3A Broadbeach group. I haven't looked back. I've made lots of friends by joining different classes and activities. There is so much to choose from with languages, outings, breakfasts and luncheons, physical activities, games, discussion groups and movie days. Lovely friendly people who make you feel very welcome.
U3A changed my life. After retiring I was at a loss what to do and I was pretty isolated. Encouraged by a friend, I plucked up my courage and went along to my first History class. Everybody was so welcoming. I felt stimulated and interested, 2 1/2 years later I'm so busy with different classes, lunches, and day trips. I've made lots of friends and am loving life, thanks to U3A.
