Great deal for moving. Just be careful how things are packed as items can be damaged in freight.
The U-Pack staff associated with ABF did a fine job. Timely delivery of two trailers to our prior home in Wisconsin and subsequent pickup at our new home in Nevada. Transit time was even a little less than estimated. Would recommend again.
We are extremely disappointed. What began as a great relationship with responsive communication with Jesse has ended in Big Dog Movers ghosting me. They won't respond to my emails about documented damage resulting in their stacking heavy boxes on top of ones marked 'Fragile' and identified with red tape. We need two lampshades replaced (Baker Furniture brand hand made in Italy) at about $1,200. Jesse emailed on April 12 saying he'd get back to me. I followed up the next day. Overall, very happy with UPack. Price was reasonable, truck and phone staff were all very friendly and professional, and the process was well-documented. Website was helpful. Scheduling was easy. Communication was (with one exception) good. I'll say again that all staff I interacted with (4 or 5 people) were all really nice. I would use UPack again. The only mishap was that there was some sort of glitch so that I wasn't notified when my package reached the destination. When I called to check on it, it was sorted out quickly,... read more
