U &I isn’t what it used to be. Mushroom Appetizer was too doughy. The fried fish is dry and tasteless, the fried oyster batter is too salty. Dishes are a bit steep. The sweet tea did not taste like tea at all. I want to believe they changed chefs. Not our favorite place any longer. Btw, the fries are good!
I will start that I have never done a review in my life. I've been eating there for years and when my job ask asks what do I want I pick this place. I don't ask for hand outs or send food back. We placed our order and our fried pickles were fresh my girl loves fry pickles. Towards the bottom was a big puddle of oil. Asked what I thought was a manager for napkins to clean the oil. The manager said they should of been shaken extra to drain excess oil. Then i ask out server if they could just replace the small amount of pickle ... read more
