Got a hitch installed on an SUV. Scratched my rear bumper up pretty badly (12-16 inch scratch). The only way this would happen was if the installer set the bumper directly on the ground and then dragged it picking it up and setting it down. Really unprofessional. I called to ask them about it and have been on hold for 15 minutes, which makes me think they just forgot about me completely on the phone.

I scheduled a hitch install at 10AM today. It was after 3 when they were done. The invoice stated .5 hr for the hitch and 1.5 hrs for the electrical. There was additional time lost when they found the hitch was "slightly bent" where the bolts needed to align with holes on the car. (We were told this was a common situation but wondered later why a different hitch was not used.) We kept being told they were working on the install. I was in a tough situation. I bought my truck with a hitch, but the dealership omitted the wiring. I had to haul my deceased parents furniture from Southern New Mexico to northern New Mexico. Uhaul worked with me and made it happen. Words can't express my gratitude.
1st, I totally zoned out and come in for the install appointment a day early, and yet they were free and did the install without issue. They did everything quick and easy, quoted a 3 - 4 hour install and it took well under 3 hours total. 2nd, they had to re-wire the truck in order to get the lights to work, and it took absolutely no time or effort for them to get that done, and done correctly
