Worst service. Won't even show the vehicle after giving the keys. The side mirrors won't move and cannot be adjusted at all.
Worst service. Didn't even show me the truck location even after I said it was my first time renting a u haul. I returned the vehicle after 3 hours only and next day was charged the double amount of initial estimates. TOTAL SCAM Never going back to this again.
I’ve rented from various U-Haul locations across Canada, always with great experiences and no issues. However, the U-Haul location in St. John’s, Newfoundland, was by far my best experience ever. The staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive—well done!
I bought 5 boxes from U-Haul and one of them was clearly defective right from the start—the print and cut lines didn’t match up at all. When I brought it back, instead of helping, the lady employee with glasses accused me of cutting or damaging it myself, which was completely false. It was never used, and the issue was clearly from the factory. To make it worse, both a guy and one lady working there showed no interest in helping customers.
