This was my worse U-Haul experience ever. I asked for a cargo van, was “guaranteed” one, and when I arrived…. No cargo van. I tried the 24/7 app and it stated I was 1.5 miles away although I was sitting in the parking lot. I called the rep on the 800 number and despite telling her my location was turned on, she didn’t know why or how to fix my problem. She recommended another store - they had a cargo van. I was charged $150 for damage that was not caused by me. I contacted the manager but refused to talk to me to prove damage. I would use Penske if you are looking to move.

Making the reservation on (8/15) went smoothly. Using the trailer (8/16) went smoothly as well. However, during the checkout process I had a few questions that were met with a curt response by the female representative at the rental location. I tried to laugh it off, to no avail. When the return process was explained I was told "instructions and Q-code are under the canopy." Very disappointing experience. This was my third attempt to rent from this location, and unfortunately, each visit has been progressively worse. The staff consistently demonstrate a lack of basic customer service skills, which suggests either insufficient training or a fundamental mismatch with the role. I’ve since visited other U-Haul locations where the service was noticeably more professional and courteous.
