I had a 2-inch hitch installed on my 2016 Honda HR-V at U-Haul North Vancouver. After the installation, I noticed an abnormal noise coming from the exhaust and rear of the vehicle. I had to return to the location five separate times for inspection and attempted repairs. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved until the hitch was completely removed. All the staff are hardworking and very friendly with the customers.
Hitch installation took over 2.5 hrs when I was advised it would be 1 hour. I suggested they might want to warn people of this being a possibility in advance so they could appropriately plan and they were not receptive or open to this feedback. I certainly recognize that unexpected things can come up both with other customers and the installation itself but it was the lack of recognition of the inconvenience and refusal to change how they advise people how long hitch installation takes that gave me cause for concern.
