U-Haul has permanently lost me as a long time customer. Showed up early for my hitch install appointment, moving across the country in a few days. Hitch guy had called in sick. The best they could do is schedule me in a week from now. So, now I have to roll around on the ground without the specialty tools required and install my own hitch. On top of that, it took 20 minutes for them to confirm my $100 deposit, which likely won't be credited to my account and I"ll have to dispute. So, goodbye U-Haul. Never using you again and... read more
Highly disrespectful staff. I was respectful throughout my interaction inside the building, but despite that I was treated unprofessionally. The employees could benefit from additional customer service and conflict resolution training. One staff member even appeared ready to escalate the situation physically, which was completely unacceptable. Once outside, I was no longer willing to tolerate that level of disrespect. Very disappointing experience.
Steve the manager at the Jackson Location had to go to Lansing to pick up a smaller truck and a U Box container to make my rental more comfortable. I appreciate the extra effort. And the remainder of his staff was also very professional and helpful!
Took a little to check out and get the hitch on but otherwise smooth sailing
Incredibly slow and never answer their phones. Seems to be training issues with knowledge of how to perform tasks in their system as well.
