I rented a trailer from here. It came off of my truck. At last my hitch. And my hitch man and almost killed me and my brother and cars that were around me my truck was trying to flip I will never rent anything from here again. They would be lucky if I rent anything from U-haul again. The service is not very good. They said they was going to get ahold of me and I have not never gotten any phone calls from no one. They said they was going to replace my hitch that's never happened. Uh, does not care about us.
The check and return process was a snap. The vehicle was staged and ready at the pickup time as promised. The communication with U-Haul was terrific. The staff in Alton is great!
The employees at this location were polite and professional. I hold nothing against them. However U-Haul is horrible. They changed my reservation for a one way move the day before the move. The box truck was now 20 miles further and the car hauler was another 60 miles from that. Make it make sense. If you can go to a facility and rent something I’d say go for it.
