If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent experience at this location was absolutely unacceptable, and it all stemmed from the customer service I received from an employee I believe to be named DeShan. I can only describe her as about 5’8”, maybe 180lbs, Black female with shoulder length locs. From the moment I walked in, her demeanor was dismissive, unprofessional, and downright rude. Maybe this woman was having a bad day, not sure. Was returning a van rental after moving my son from Hampton Roads to VCU, and was able to locate the Uhaul, and park the van. Carried the keys into the office, and offered them to the woman behind the desk. I thought she said, "Place the keys in the truck and lock it". I asked if she needed my name, she said no. This location is conveniently located off of N. Lomabardy across from Kroger grocery store. I believe we traveled a total of maybe 3 miles moving my daughter out of one house, into another and returning the U-haul van. Be warned that this location is super busy around the end of July and beginning of August. We rented a van on August 1st and despite the hectic time, the people working at this location made the pickups and dropoffs smooth! Well done!
Customer service was superb! Markeisha was AWESOME!!!!!!! So kind, so helpful, just overall great!
Never fun to leave a 1 Star review, Also not fun to reserve a U-Haul weeks in advance just to show up and be told (very rudely by Deshawn) that they did NOT in fact reserve the truck that we paid for. Overall incredibly rude, disappointing, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I hope this was a one time event for all our sakes.
