Save yourself time and stress and just go to Champaign. All the awesome staff that was at Urbana is now at Champaign. The new manager is a mess. He messed up and covered it with one lie after another. When called out for one, he'd apologize and blame being a newer manager for it. There is no world where lying to cover your mistake acceptable or professional. That has nothing to do with being new.
