I’m extremely disappointed with how Brenda Olson with U-Haul handled what should have been a very simple customer service issue. First, I want to be clear that the staff we have dealt with at this location have been nothing but helpful and professional. Our frustration is NOT with the employees who have taken care of us. We operate a resale/event business, which means we legitimately need trucks to transport merchandise and equipment. I successfully reserved a 15' truck on the U-Haul website, but after my reservation was confirmed, U-Haul automatically changed my pickup location from 2010 S Philo Rd to 3809 N Cunningham Ave without asking for my approval or even notifying me beforehand. What made this even more frustrating was the response from customer service. Instead of acknowledging the problem or apologizing, they simply told me, "That's not far from you.
