Went here today to get a few prescriptions refilled. She immediately told me she couldn’t refill them and she would have to write me a referral to a dermatologist. I said ok. Then I start to tell her I need an anti inflammatory for my arthritis and she interrupts me and says she can only give me Mortrin. Acted as if I walked in asking for OxyContin. She could care less about patients. Walked out 45 minutes later without even a referral to a dermatologist. Don’t go here. She doesn’t care.

We've been assigned to Dr. Tyson at the El Monte clinic since mid June 2016. We've yet seen Dr. Tyson and the staff there seems to be underpaid and overworked. One of the other doctors (female/Asian) who "subbed in" for Dr. Tyson to take care of me was very crass and unprofessional. Yesterday, September 20, 2016, the staff cancelled my appointment because I was in the exam room chaperoning my daughter, who was a walk-in, for 3 hours. I did not see the staff/drs using gloves/hand sanitizer.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They weren't horribly inexperienced, but I was hoping for someone with more experience. I wasn't sure they'd be able to help me. Their staff was somewhat friendly, but they didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. The wait was absolutely ridiculous. It messed up my entire day. They didn't look terrible, but there is definitely lots of room for improvement. They definitely weren't easy to reach in an emergency. I called from the hospital but they did not return the phone call either to me or the hospital staff.
