I was at an appointment with Dr. Hawkins the other day and would just like to give him a thumbs up. Two if I had ‘em. He was punctual, friendly, and listened to my concerns about my illness. He provided me with helpful tips and new information on how to manage my current situation, that my last doctor had failed to mention. He even took the time to ask about my recent vacation. I have been seeing Dr. Hawkins for the last few years, but each visit I leave more and more impressed. He not only listens in the moment, but recalls important details from prior visits and even takes the time to ask about my dog, Petey. His knowledge of medicine is excellent, but he is still able to explain my conditions and diagnoses in a way I can understand. As I grow older, I realize my care may become more complex, but I feel confident in having a physician like Dr. Hawkins advocating for me.
