Wir hatten auf dem Rückweg von Cape Reinga mit einem immer platter werdenden Reifen beim Mietwagen zu kämpfen. Nach vergeblichen Telefonaten mit Europcar (man gab uns zig verschiedene Nummern, die wir angerufen sollten), führte uns der Weg zufällig zu den freundlichen Damen von Northland Rental in Kaitaia, die uns gleich zu Tyrezone schickten.
